So, if you are here for the first time, I credit the video we posted to the 89X in 30 Seconds contest. It’s a decent effort, but I have the feeling they’re looking for something else. I always hate my own work until someone else says it’s good. For now, it will remain decent and I will keep my hopes guarded.

I received an email from a fan of Lime Juice Radio about an incident at Lowe’s. She asked for some of the branches they had cut from Christmas trees to use for a craft project. After arriving home, she realized that some of the branches had been painted green to cover the dried needles. That seems like something that should not be done by a corner tree lot, let alone a large corporation. Just thought all three of you who read this site should know that.
Question – Is the Grim Reaper better as a cackling imp, twisting fate to your detriment, or as the embodiment of impending doom, solemn to the last? I tend to lean toward cackling. Just a question…
I’m just getting into the swing of haunted house season again. I’ve been doing stuff for the Wyandotte Jaycees haunted houses for the last few years. Just like a lot of things, it would be great to make a living out of it. I’m putting together some more work to try and have an actual portfolio to show. There are already examples on the Slice and Dice site of some nonexistent haunted attractions I’ve done on a whim, but I’m always working on more. AND I’m always looking for work, so give us a shout if you need anything.
I just saw a guy wearing a Chronicles of Narnia t-shirt. Now, while this in and of itself is a bit unremarkable, the sleeves were cut off. Cut off like an episode of Cops. Cut off like “I’m a hardass”…in a Narnia t-shirt. Narnia represent.

I huess there’s some kind of review process that they do, so once that’s over, I’ll throw in a link where you can go to digg our podcast. I loved the Upright Citizens Brigade when it was on Comedy Central. They are like the missing link between Kids in the Hall and Chappelle’s Show. This clip is a perfect example of what they were all about.
I’m currently on the hunt for a Nintendo Wii system. These puppies have taken the nation by storm and, in short, I want one. I’m not a crazy $500 eBay bidder, but I will stand in line. Shipments are scheduled to arrive at Target this Sunday, so I just might be there. Hell, I might buy two and eBay one to some poor sucker who didn’t stand in line. I’ll let you know how it goes.
EDIT: No luck on that. The website that tracks it says shipments are due the 17th just about everywhere. Go get your own Wii.
